Can anybody tell me something about the depth of field for group photographs
using cannon 5D mark 2...(I m having problem of shallow depth of field using the same.)
i will be highly obliged.

What lens are you using ? and aperture ?

Also if possible post sample image.

Thanks a lot for your quick response JAG.
i m using 24mm to 105mm zoom lens which was supplied by the cannon with the mark2 camera. i used F14 or F16 as aperture but i generally use prolin chrome studio light system. my problem is that during wedding when i click group pics , i generally focus bride or groom with their friends or family members, but the problem is that when i click with this camera D5 only the bride or groom comes in focus but their family members comes not in focus.

Gulrez, at f14 if you are still getting shallow dof I think the problem could of the Lens.

Your best bet would be try some other lens on the same body if that solves your problem, then its time to send the Lens for repair :) or buy a new one.
